FTP Mac and Advanced Settings

The FTP site is accessible from ftp://ftp.sinkcombs.com. Use this address in your preferred FTP client or Windows Explorer for accessing our FTP folders.

You can add your username and password to the link file downloaded from the previous page to provide one-click access to your project's FTP folder without logging in.

1. Right-click the shortcut file and choose Properties.
2. Under the Shortcut tab, change the Target to:
%windir%\explorer.exe ftp://Username:Password@ftp.sinkcombs.com
Where Username and Password and the username and password provided by your SCD Project Manager.

Save SCD FTP as A Network Place:

If this site is a site you will be going to frequently, you may want to add it as a Network Place so you can access it with one click.

1. Open My Network Places From the START menu or from the Other Places section to the left of any folder view.

2. On the left pane, Choose Add a network place from the Network Tasks section.

3. Choose Next and then the default Choose another network location.

4. Type the FTP address making sure to include the "ftp://"; part at the beginning like ftp://ftp.sinkcombs.com. Next.

5. Check Log On Anonymously EVEN IF you have a username and password. You will enter that later. Next.

6. Give it a name, Next, Finish.

7. If the login box doesn't open, select File > Login As and enter the information you were provided by the Project Manager. Make sure to check Save password.

To access this site in the future, just go to My Network Places and click the link. You can even create a shortcut of the site on your desktop or other folder.
