

Andy became a Principal at Sink Combs Dethlefs in 1993 and President in 2009. He is NCARB certified and licensed in several states. Andy's projects have ranged from community recreation centers to amphitheaters and from private residences to training centers for college athletes. Among his favorite accomplishments are the award winning designs for the Dal Ward Athletic Center, Evans Community Center, Stephen C. West Ice Arena, the University of Wyoming Rochelle Athletic Center and the Colorado School of Mines Student Recreation Center & Lockridge Arena.
Andy has extensive experience working with large groups on projects. He listens carefully to the input of administrators, staff, community or campus stakeholders, and user groups to understand the planning and design issues that will lead to success for each particular project.
Andy graduated from Montana State and received his Masters in Architecture from the University of Texas at Austin. He graduating with honors from both Universities.
